So, I wake up this morning about 7AM. I get ready and go to school. Today we had in in-service so that means we get out at 1:00PM. I go through my day and get out at 1PM. Being the nice person I am, I offered to come into work as soon as I could because I thought that Scubway would be swamped with high school students. Naturally they were, and I got there at 1:05PM. We were busy the entire time. A certain employee annoyed the heck out of me today. She's older. She seemed like she didn't want to get her hands dirty with anything. First off, she got the Seafood out (still frozen) and tried to break it up so we could make our sandwich meat. Since it was frozen, she started using scissors to cut up the meat (which isn't an odd thing to do, however I just use my hands. Now since I'm the fool, I didn't realize what she was starting. So being nice, I offered to do it for her since she seemed to be having trouble. So I finished the Crab meat(freezing my hands). Then, she pulls another lazy procedure. She goes to make Teriyaki chicken, and procedes to just poor the sauce on and mix it around on the meat. If you do it properly, all of the meat should be covered (it wasnt), she just stirred it (and didn't use her hands). We also have to weigh the meat. I saw she was doing a half-assed job with that too. They are suppose to have a weight of 3.2 and I see that she's got the meat portions around 3. Now, I'm not trying to go into deep detail about things, but it just bothers me when we are suppose to doing something correctly and then I'm the one who gets chewed for the problem when its IDIOT over there messing things up.

So I then decide to help her do dishes. I'm much taller than her and I can reach the shelves that we use to dry the trays and things. So I'm helping her, I can she that shes leaving gunk on the trays and passing them on to me to spray and sanitize. (remember, this entire time I'm trying to be nice). On one occasion, I pointed out to her a spot that needed rewashed. Then, she randomly stops to go do something else that wasn't necessacary leaving me with the dishes. WHAT DO YA KNOW? She leaves me the Teriyaki bowl and the Seafood bowl (which have chunks and mayo in it) as well as mayo bottles that needed cleaned (chunks and all). Now the thing that angers me the most, is that she puts these IN the clean dish water. MY WATER IS FOGGY NOW. There is hardly anything that bothers me more than that while working. So I hastily change the water and clean all of her items that she was too lazy to finish. I also came across the cutter that we use to cut Onions, Green Peppers, and Cucumbers. Inside of it, it had pepper chunks as well as onion chunks. So I'm assuming what happened was that DIRTY &^%&$ neglected to clean the cutter inbetween doing onions and peppers. TALK ABOUT CROSS CONTAMINATION! YUK!
Overall, I wasn't impressed, and luckily I dont have to work with her that often. However, I have to work with that Nazi tomorrow.
After I got off work, I went in and got the "take out" from the Music Boosters BBQ dinner. I bought 2 meals for my parents and brought them home for them just after work. I then went to the Varsity Basketball game at 7PM. I picked up Bryce and his brother. Bryce and I hung out at the game. We somewhat screwed around, but we actually played almost every song. We ended up leaving during the half.
There were three picture perfect moments that I wish I had my camera. One of the three was when the national anthem was being played, ALL THAT JAZZ sang and while they sang, the flag had a gentle breeze of air the moved the tip. The second, was during one moment when I looked over at ADAM playing the drums. He was sitting on the chair with his legs up in the seat in front of him and drumsticks on his lap. For some odd reason, it looked like a good picture. The final picture that I wish I would have been able to take was when I stood behind Coach H. during the end of the JV game. He was directly in front of me near the doorway by the gym furnace vent. He was leaned up against it, and a younger boy (Adam B.) game up to him and tugged him on the brim of his shirt, and looked up and asked, "Coach are we going to win?". Now, the likeliness of Rossville actually winning the Varsity game was very slim (which as it turns out, they didn't win), however Coach looked down on the boy and said "Yes we will". This was coaches final home game of his career, it was his last. It was also Senior Night. The irony of the entire thing was bittersweet. The team we played was our main rival, and we lost. However, as I look back in my time in school, Coach took us to State and WON! That was the first time in 93 years! The great thing about that moment that I experienced, was that Coach looked down (during the game and took time to talk to him when his mind was elsewere.
